Besides missing ayesha and patrick [I will email you both soon] I had a fantastic sandwich yesterday: bacon, spicy sausage, camembert, farm tomatoes, mustard, seed rye, delicious.

LIFE
I'm really enjoying these face paints. They're very uncontrolled and spontaneous. Probably what I'm lacking in my life at the moment - spontaneity and 'vooma'. But I'll get those back soon. My mom always says 'vooma', as in 'gusto' or 'determination'.
Mikes helped me with this one [while I edited his essay!]. He made the 'beavis and butthead' character in the left corner and the one-eyed bear monster. It's very refreshing seeing someone else's imagination's interpretation. Thanks, mikkey.

22
This was a mistake because I'm already forgetting how old I am and how old my friends are turning. 22 was last year, Rebecca.
MUSH
Sorry I haven't posted much this week. Work has been bogging me down. Its Bianca's birthday today. I'm going to make a special paint for her later.

A MILLION DIFFERENT MONSTERS
This is so much fun - looking for faces, drawing them in and seeing all the different personalities which unveil themselves! I did it twice and totally different characters emerged each time. My favourite face is the blue eyed monster - a little cooked, a little dom.. ah, but i like them all. friends!
Do it yourself! Click on and 'save as' the unfaced version, open it in paint, pick a brush tool and find your monsters. If you email it to me (klugi33@hotmail.com) i'll put it up on scribbled egg.
Hope ya'll have a fantastic day today!

GOT TO BE THERE IN THE MORNINGS
I've been listening to The Jackson Five on repeat. Without this music I doubt I would of got through today without either dying of cold or ripping up these sheets of marked up monotonicity.
HELLO RUSSIA
Enjoy! In reaction to Malc eating supposedly the best cabonara in the world last night, I made gnocchi for myself. The left overs are making a fantastic work day lunch on this cold Capetonian day.

BAHAMUT
"The entire known universe floats suspended in a thin sliver ball which rocks gently on the back of an immense blue green Tortuga. And the Tortuga’s scaly feet are firmly placed on the top most of 7 cranky mountains which arise from the vast and arid plane of drifting vetted yellow dust. And the plane is balanced precariously on top of a small thin green acacia tree which grows from the snout of a giant blood red ox with 50 eyes that breathes flame the colour of the midnight sky. And the ox’s hooves are firmly placed on the single grain of sand which floats in the eye of Bahamut like a mode of dust.
No one has ever seen Bahamut. Some think it’s a fish. Some think it’s a newt.
All we know that the lone Bahamut floats endlessly through all time and all space with all of us and everything floating in a single tear of his eye."
DIAMONDS FROM HEARTS
Simple paints for a simple day. Started reading a new John Irving book (Ayesha, it's good), and now all I want is to be in bed reading. Bored at work again. Can't wait for new adventures next year. Although getting to know Michael and living with B, Si and Keen is making this year worth it. I'll be sad to leave.

LUXURY
Took Thursday off work and had an extra-long long weekend. Went to Mike's farm and spent the majority of my time there in bed, reading. As always, we indulged in unbelievably good food and wine and more wine.
